Sensory Notes
The color is deep ruby with purple nuances. It has an intense and clean aroma, initially prevails floral notes of violet and then one perceives a fruitiness with hints of raspberry, black currant, blackberry and plum. The taste is firm, with a slightly tannic aftertaste, slightly bitter and persistent. It is a full bodied wine, smooth and dry.
Pairings
Pairs well with white and red meat, farm raised or wild, grilled or roasted. Cured meats and hard cheeses. Hams like the Sauris.
